Our extensive cocktail list revolves around house-made liqueurs and native produce featuring Beirne Lane’s signature cocktail (also inspired by Mr Beirne himself), Oh Boys! We Must Have Another!
Our dining menu, put together by head chef Zac Sykes (previously of Sydney restaurants North Bondi Fish, Omega and Bistro Mars), is inspired both by Beirne’s Irish heritage and his love of Japan. A selection of bar snacks, raw items, substantial Josper-grill dishes, sides and desserts – think cheesy Japanese curry-covered chips, baked cob loaf with beer cheese, whole roasted pumpkins, king prawns with black-garlic butter, chicken-fat popcorn and an entire section of the menu dedicated to katsu sandos (Japanese style sandwich).
The award winning, Sydney based AZB Creative designed Beirne Lane with Queensland’s humid weather in mind – it’s an harmonious space featuring lush greenery, mosaic flooring, a huge open kitchen and plush booth seating along the outdoor terraces overlooking the bustling Fortitude Valley mall.
