In a renovated heritage building, which has been at the heart of the Longreach community since the 1920s, we have created a place to meet, eat and discover. Our booking office is a relaxed space to chat about your trip and get advice on the best things to do in Longreach.

OUTBACK PIONEERS BOOKING OFFICE
This is more than a booking office, it’s an experience in itself to step inside this graceful old building. There are comfortable chairs where you can look at brochures and books and of course you can book all your Outback Pioneer experiences here. The booking office is open Monday to Saturday 8.00am – 5pm from April to October; and Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5pm from November to March.

THE WELCOME HOME CAFÉ & TEAROOM
We’ve created a perfect place to stop for a coffee or lunch in the renovated heritage surroundings of what was originally the Welcome Home Hotel. The café and tearoom are open 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday during the season from April to October.

STONEGRILL® DINNER
New for 2018, our Stonegrill® at The Welcome Home brings this traditional campfire method of cooking inside for hearty outback dinners. Guests can cook their meat or fish the way they like it on the hot-stone at the table and combine it with a choice of sides and sauces. Complete your meal with an all-you-can-eat dessert bar of traditional desserts. The Stonegrill® is open to the public Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays in the winter season. BYO alcohol. OUR GROUP VENUE AND MEETING ROOMS
The Welcome Home also has spacious function rooms, perfect for tour group breakfasts, morning teas, lunches or dinners. We host school groups here too, combining good tucker with more opportunities to learn about outback life. We also welcome local community groups, business conferences and weddings as well.
