Open Tuesday to Sunday for Breakfast and Lunch, and every 2nd Thursday for Cocktails and Classics night! Myrtle's Cafe serves up delicious classic cafe meals, healthy and allergy friendly options and scrumptious home-baked sweets and guilty pleasures; just like Grandma used to make!

Myrtle's Cafe was born from our passion of fresh, local produce, home cooked food and quality baked goods. We always remembered being at our grandma's place, Myrtle's, enjoying her food and loving comfort. We hope we can bring that feeling to you and provide you a home away from home.

Our Story

Sisters, Shelley and Shannah named their cafe after Grandma Myrtle. Myrtle was a great cook and the girls loved spending time at their Grandma's eating all her yummy goodies, especially the mulberry pie!! Their mum, Noela, a fabulous cook herself, was always in the kitchen with the girls inspiring them to bake just the same.

Shelley is a Travel Agent and spent much of her teenage and college years working in bakeries. Shannah is an Environmental Scientist and spent many years in the hospitality industry. The girls bring aspects of their other careers to the cafe, and want you to enjoy coming to their cafe like they enjoyed going to their Grandma's house.
