Both from Chiangmai, Michael and Nopporn started their restaurant adventures in 1993, where they opened the first Chiangmai Thai branch at Nobby Beach. As it got busier with each passing year, they decided to relocate to the current location at Broadbeach, opposite Cascade Gardens. Not long after, another branch was opened in Surfers Paradise, located within the Mantra Crown Towers Resort.

Michael, Nopporn and Christina, along with the team continually put in a lot of effort to ensure that the overall dining experience will transport customers back to Thailand! Everything from the gold accented wooden artifacts, the elephant chairs and the wooden carvings were all brought in from Thailand.
