Located at the edge of town on the road to Currie Harbour is our licensed restaurant, Oleada. We are currently open for dinner Wednesday to Saturday from 6pm with our latest seating at 7:30pm. Reservations are recommended.

Our menu is sustaining and straightforward, seasonal and local where available. Vegetarian and gluten free options are always available; if you need a vegan meal we do better with a day's notice.

Oleada is our family's restaurant and we whole-heartedly welcome yours at every age and stage. Let us know if you need a highchair or some extra space for a pram or capsule.

As we have a very small dining room we take bookings up to a maximum of 8 people only. We take bookings one month in advance, but if you are in town today check for our sign in the window for availability tonight. Timing is very important to us so that we are able to offer all our guests the best possible service; we ask that if you are more than a few minutes late for your booking to please advise us as soon as possible. We may open any late tables to our waiting list and we do not seat any tables later than 7:40pm. If you are a visitor to our island from north of the 40 degree please be aware of our long summer twilights from October onwards and of travelling times from your accommodation or activities.
