A BEACH FRONT CAFE IN STREAKY BAY

After visiting Streaky Bay for many years as tourists and dreaming of what might be, Vince and Paulette decided the time to live the life they always wanted was now.

2020 brought to light so many new and challenging emotions and issues for everyone, but for us it was the realisation that unless we make the change and take the chance, then our lives will stay the same and we would in time regret our lack of actions to achieve some of our wildest ambitions.

Falling in love with Streaky Bay is easy. The pristine beaches, the natural beauty and of course the great fishing, along with the friendly nature of the locals, it was not a hard decision as to where we wanted to spend the rest of our life. The question was, what we do once we got here and how viable that might be.

With over 40 years combined experience within the hospitality and associated service industries, a café was our dream and when we found that this site was up for rent, we could not resist diving in. The most encouraging component of the final decision was the desire of locals to see this place open again, with so many people having fond memories of the prior business that ran successfully for many years from this site. Add to this our want to be part of a fantastic growing and enthusiastic community and things just fell into place.

Our want is that you, our customers, enjoy the experience through this magnificent location, that our service shows you due respect and the quality of the fresh local produce we serve will see you returning time and time again.Your support of our café in turn supports this community through supply of produce from many local business, not only in Streaky Bay but also Port Kenny, Port Lincoln and other Eyre Peninsula towns and residents.
