Dāna Eating House is a modern South-East Asian restaurant. Good hospitality is our driving passion - good food, booze & company!
We’re a large format restaurant that encourages fun and lively dining, but we know how to tailor the pace and create a relaxed or intimate setting.

We proudly support local + sustainable producers, so our menu changes seasonally.
Our drinks list — cocktails, lots of wine, beer, spirits, and the non alc good stuff — is both carefully curated and extensive, featuring only the things we want to drink, all the time.

p.s. we love to party, and can accommodate private parties of 11 all the way up to 180 guests!
Dāna opened to a Hobart ghost town in the midst of the pandemic, 2020. The vulnerability of our industry, the importance of community and hospitality and the effect it has on people is never lost on us.

While we eagerly awaited the opening of our doors, our restaurant was lovingly built and renovated by our friends & family — so it’s only fair that we share it with yours.
